We all get satisfaction and happiness from different ideals, for us at Mesites Consulting we hope to help individuals, organizations and nations see opportunities in challenges, we are leading a set of inspired young men and women who will be filled with revolutionary ideas, they will become visionary and imaginative, they will do right, they will be radically propelled by ideals creating wealth for their organization and their righteousness will exalt their nations.

Mesites is raising a set of young minds in – EDUCATION, HEALTH, AGRICULTURE & FINANCES – who will be have noble cause, and who will be incredibly immune to voices of discouragement, they see no limitations because they will have an alternative realism, they will change the economic and social situation of their families and nations.

In Education, we cannot change our world without intellectual capacity, we need knowledge and intelligence, even nature deals with us according to the level of our ignorance, little wonder, The Economist saw life as a severe contest between intelligence which presses forward and an unworthy timid ignorance which serves as an obstruction. Simply, our lives is a balance between what we know and that which we do not seek to know. Quality in education is a major challenge across Africa, the rate of change of knowledge creation, communication and propagation has rendered teachers as well as learners confused. Improving access to information became the greatest challenge for knowledge integration into humans or human systems. The drift towards technology has challenged the innovative capacity of teachers to adapt to trends of life – now teachers claim students don’t read and students fight back that teachers don’t know how to get to their hearts -. Quality in higher education in Nigeria is becoming urgent. Progressively more, students are upset, annoyed and unsatisfied with their experiences as education consumers. It has been demonstrated that students wants “QUALITY” to the extent beyond the size of theirs school’s endowment or the research credentials of their Teachers or lecturers or faculty members. Mesites consulting has decided to look the continuous quality improvement way in education and we can see the performance gaps between the current education status and the desired outcome hence our goal is to

§  Institutionalize the culture of continuous permanent personal improvement into teachers at all level of education.

§  Train teachers into leaders, who will mentor, coach and lead all students towards personal excellence.

§  Help improve the learning environment of students and create excellent atmosphere for knowledge transfer.

§  Empower students irrespective of their background to find a balance in life; physically, mentally, socially and economically.

§  Do regular monitoring and evaluation of schools with a view to assessing the quality of human capacity, educational resource materials, learning environment and their knowledge management innovations.

In general, Businesses, Industries and even government agencies are sharing increasing dissatisfactions about the quality of graduates turned out from our higher schools, they seem not well trained in subject matter expertise, their communication prowess is barely average, low emotional intelligence and they all want students to work more on projects from inception to completion and an improvement in the communication skills of students would also be a welcomed ideal. Some organization are now trying to help secondary and tertiary educations to solve their problems, that is what MESITES CONSULTING LIMITED stands for, that’s who we are – see opportunities in challenges.

We have decided to start from a point, LUMEX TUTORS LIMITED, located at NO 90 Ibrahim Taiwo Road, in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, it’s a government approved body running pre tertiary education programs in Nigeria, it’s been in operation for about 15 years now and has turned out over 15,000 graduates who has pursued several degrees in the universities which includes but not limited to Medicine, Law, Accounting, Engineering, Pharmacy, Geology, Computer Sciences etc. Mesites Consulting Ltd has acollaboration with Lumex Tutors Ltd to redefine the pre tertiary education in Nigeria, we are standing for continuous quality in education and strong educational leadership in our schools. We are determined to help fill the gaps in education from the secondary and help student to find their footings in the universities.

We run programs from Senior School Certificate Examinations, Advanced Level Programs (such as NABTEB A’L, IJMB A’L), educational leadership training for teachers and lecturers as well as quality improvement courses in education.

In healthcare, Mesites consulting is collaborating with government of countries to build a safer health care system by designing processes of care to ensure that patients are safe from accidental injury. For all patients who agree to a medical procedure or a course of medical treatment, they should be assured that it will proceed effectively, safely, timely, efficiently, equitably and their decisions will guide the whole care process. We must all admit that because health systems are built around humans – to err is human – and that the system itself is a complex one, it leaves so much opportunities for MEDICAL ERRORS to occur, these errors has claimed millions of lives, resulted in permanent disabilities, serious injuries and harm to patients. The pains patient and their relatives go through can make us come to a conclusion that the health care system is sick.

Mesites has joined the social movement of those who are ready to push for continuous quality improvement in health care systems, we have adopted the system thinking methodology and we are averse to the blame game. We hope to create systems that will help annul human fallibility in the delivery of health care.

Mesites Consulting Ltd has decided to

·         Create policy framework for all nations to drive continuous quality improvement and foster the culture of patient safety across their health care system.

·         Develop clinical and public health research in areas of knowledge gaps in the world of quality improvement in health care system.

We must learn from medical errors, we must study data, intellectualize the data and develop coherent philosophy on how to help human systems in health care setting. To learn, we must develop a system to identify near misses and adverse events in our systems, we must have a reporting system, this reporting system should be both internal and external. It should be voluntary, confidential with an overall goal of improving patient safety and can be designed to complement the mandatory reporting systems.
